Personal Projects

Student Venture (Co-Founder/CEO)

UW Medicine Team Lead

As a volunteer Team Lead, I enhance website flow utilizing Next.js for a signup program serving medical volunteers across 7 states.

I refactored the codebase to remove 30% dead code for improved performance and implemented dynamic features like volunteer signup and registration tracking based on stakeholder feedback.

Beard & Blight

A solo-developed voxel-based multiplayer co-op game built in Godot 4. I handled the full asset pipeline using Blockbench and programmed complex game loops and custom mechanics.

Engineered a procedural terrain generation system with dynamic chunking and runtime modification. I deeply optimized the game for performance, tackling complex issues regarding memory management, rendering pipelines, and CPU utilization.

1bit Game Jam

Our team collaborated to create “Rich Men Tell No Tales”, a unique game designed in 1-bit color for a recent game jam challenge. Utilizing the open-source Godot engine, we combined our skills to bring this project to life.

My contributions included both artwork and coding, ensuring a seamless integration of visual elements and gameplay mechanics. Together, we crafted an engaging experience that showcases the power of simplicity and creativity within strict constraints.
